Submission Guidelines All submissions must be the original work of the authors, scientifically oriented, and represent a level of scholarship and professionalism commensurate with doctoral-level research. Abstracts are required, and should not exceed 150 words. The journal does not charge a fee for submission.
Submitted manuscripts must adhere to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), 5th edition, including the appropriate use of general writing style, grammar, headings, figures, tables, citations, references, and other writing style considerations (see http://www.apastyle.org/).
No paper that has already been published, accepted for publication, or is currently in review for publishing with another journal will be considered. Submission to the journal constitutes explicit commitment and agreement by the author that the manuscript has not been previously published or is not being considered for publishing by another journal.
Copyright Guidelines All papers must have a style that is consistent and reflective of the writer’s voice, and be entirely free from plagiarism. Prior to publication, authors are required to obtain written permission for the use of any table, figure, or extensive text extract (more than 200 words) from a source that is owned or copyrighted by a party other than the author. This requirement pertains both to direct reproduction, and derivative reproduction, when the author has created a new table or figure derived substantially from a copyrighted source.
Preparing the Manuscript All manuscripts must be written in English. Manuscripts must be submitted electronically as a Word document or .rtf file. Documents must be double-spaced in APA format, using a 12-point font size (preferably Times New Roman), and one inch margins on all borders. All graphics and tables should be inserted within the file in the appropriate location in the paper. The entire submission must be contained within one file. Papers sent with separate graphic files will be returned to the author.
The suggested maximum length for an article is 15 double-spaced pages. Long articles should be divided into smaller sections through the use of subheadings, and no more than four levels of headings should be used. The manuscript should make minimal if any use of italics or boldface except as required by APA style.
Authors are responsible for providing for adequate editing prior to submitting the material. Any manuscript with excessive spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, or other mechanical problems, or papers that do not meet the minimum submission requirements, will be will be returned to the author.
Submitting the Manuscript All manuscripts must be submitted through the Journal website. See Submit a Paper for details. All manuscripts will be acknowledged upon receipt. No hard copy or disk-provided articles will be accepted.
All submissions will go through a scientific peer review process by the Journal editorial board. Since all manuscripts are reviewed via a blind review process, please do not include the author's name in the manuscript or in the file name. Authors should receive an editorial decision within approximately 90 days from date of submission.
